Veggie Mobile
The Veggie Mobile was launched in 2013 by ProMedica Bixby Hospital and Lenawee Health Network in collaboration with area farmer's markets and producers. It is part of a key initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle in the community through a diet of five servings of fruits of vegetables a day.
The Veggie Mobile travels to 17 locations throughout Lenawee County (including many of our Senior Centers) offering residents a range of fresh, low-cost produce sourced from ProMedica Farms and local farmers.
