The Lenawee Youth Center (also known as Maurice Spear Campus) is dedicated to helping troubled youth and their families by providing a safe and secure environment for residents and staff. Our Board appreciates that members of the community wish to contribute to the success of this mission and asks that you consider what experiences and skills you can contribute.
Board members are asked to help 1) promote a positive awareness of the campus in the community, 2) raise funds to support campus programs, and 3) manage, invest, and disperse donations, endowments, and trust established by donors.
The LYC/MSC Board meets the first Wednesday every month at 12:30 PM, and each member is expected to actively attend these meetings either in person or on Zoom. In addition, board members are expected to serve on at least one committee.
