Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Program offers a support group for relative caregivers. The group meets every Thursday evening from 5:30 - 8:00 at the Piotter Center located at 327 Erie Street in Adrian. A certified therapist attends the support group and is available for one-to-one counseling. The support group discusses issues related to relative caregiving. Children are encouraged to attend, as childcare is provided. A meal is also provided at each support group meeting. The support group discusses such issues as Incarceration, Sexual Abuse, ADHD/ODD, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Child Mental Health, Behavior Problems, Adult Stress, Financial Issues and other topics as needed. All topics are shared openly in a confidential setting.

There is no cost to participate in the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Program.
