MORENCI SENIOR CENTER WILL BE CLOSED TODAY 12/2/2019

The Morenci Senior Center will be closed today for site meals only. Home Delivered Meals will be delivered as usual.

Commodity Distribution

Commodity Distribution will take place November 21, 2019  from 11am-2pm at the First United Methodist Church located at 1245 W. Maple Ave. Adrian, MI 49221. To recertify please bring your photo ID and proof of all household  income to the distribution during the expiration month listed on your card.

Thanksgiving Holiday

The Lenawee Department on Aging will be closed Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. All Senior centers will be closed and no meals or home services will be provided.

Medicare Open Enrollment is quickly approaching. It officially begins Tuesday, October 15th through Saturday, December 7th. Remember, this is your annual opportunity to COMPARE and/or CHANGE Medicare health and drug plans. Once again, we prefer to focus on Part D changes. Funding Sources

The Lenawee Department of Aging relies on funds from state and federal grants, senior millage funds, and donations from clients and families.

Memorial Contributions

Lenawee Department on Aging may be listed as a beneficiary for memorial contributions.  We are honored when families choose to remember our agency during such a difficult time.

Eligibility

Services and programs are provided to those aged 60 and older living in Lenawee County.  Donations are encouraged to allow services to continue to keep older adults in their own homes.
